Is $25,000 a reasonable budget for 200 guests?

I have just started planning and would like to spend around $10,000 for 175. Any suggestions since you have a similar budget?

Where are you getting married/having your reception?! My guest list is 160 and we're spending $15K-$20K and really couldn't find it cheaper than that!

I agree with all. We are also having a wedding for about 225 and trying to keep it as close to 10,000 as possible. We haven't felt we have skimped on anything!

That seems like way more than enough if you ask me. I will be doing my wedding of 200-250 for as close to $10,000 as I can get it. And I don't feel as if I'm skimping on anything.

Yes, with the help of a good wedding planner, you can stretch those dollars to the max for a memorable special day! Of course, a huge chunk of your budget will depend on choice of reception venue and food.
Good luck!

Yes! I would say so. Also take into account the wedding style that you are thinking of. The Knot has a pretty good budget tool (but review it carefully, because it doesn't include a lot of the little things...and those can add up).
