This isn't really a question about where to have our reception but more about what to do at it. We have thought about having games at our reception and also a dj. Any ideas on games we can play? Or comments about games at a reception? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Valle Vista Golf Club

Buyer beware. They sell a wonderful deal, but when they don't deliver, which I understand is rare, but they didn't deliver on my wedding and they refuse to compensate for their blunders. Our coordinator did a lousy job, was not around the for 95% of the wedding, did not guide our guests where to go and was 1/2 hr. late seating guests at what was supposed to be our start time. If it was our fault for the late start we would have been charged extra, but on their end their is zero service recovery, I have been treated like a liar. They investigated by only talking to their staff and no one involved on my end. I had to direct my bakery person where to deliver or she would have delivered my bakery items right into the ceremony location! Very, very poor service recovery, save your money and save yourself some heartache!!!

Crystal Yacht Club

Has anyone looked at the Crystal Yacht Club by Broadripple? I am looking for a venue with a big dance floor. Started downtown and wanted to venture out to make sure I didn't miss any fabulous venues. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

indoor ceremony

if anybody has any good reasonably priced suggestions on places to have my wedding and reception inside i would appreciate it.i don't really want an outside wedding but if i have to it's no big deal. i just really want a place that i can have the ceremony and the reception at the same place. my wedding date is sept. 5. thank you for all who reply

Wedding Reccomendation

If you are looking for a place to have your rehearsal dinner, wedding and/or reception, I would highly recommend The Conrad Indianapolis downtown. I attended a Bridal Show last Spring with my best friend who was getting married in August. She was clueless about details and where she wanted the wedding. We met a representative from The Conrad at the Bridal Show and she was so impressed that she decided to have her wedding and reception there, which was last August. The person she worked with was very helpful with details and helped her through the process. I was personally blown away by the atmosphere and especially the food! Also, I was in the wedding party and was able to meet some of the staff; their professionalism and service was wonderful. www.conradhotels.com

Out of town need help!!

I am a soldier stationed in Texas. I am from Indianapolis & so I want to get married there. I have no idea what kind of places there are to get married. I want an outdoor wedding. It will be in June. Anyone know of anywhere?

Union Station

Has anyone had any interaction with the staff at union station at the Crowne Plaza? I'm beginning to think they look at everyone as a just another customer and so far only the chef has been friendly.

Valle Vista reception

Please be advised before selecting Valle Vista as your reception location. We recently were married and had our reception there. Long story, short we were served the wrong buffet, were told we'd be compensated, and after some back and forth, Valle Vista had committed to reimbursing us a fraction of the reception costs. I indicated to them that I planned to forewarn other future brides as to how they handled conflict resolution. Afterwards, instead of receiving a check in the mail, I received a nasty letter that closed with saying that I was looking for something for nothing and nothing was what I would get. Just wanted to advise people so that others could avoid the headaches.

Eagle Creek Park Reception

Has anyone had a reception at Eagle Creek Park? How did it turn out? Did you find that it turned out to be more expensive if you had to rent the tent, table, chairs, etc...as oppossed to a venue that already had everything? Thanks!
